Lets’ be honest – this 4-star hotel definitely isn’t cheap. Quite the opposite, staying there for a few days can literally ruin you. However, the price might be the only disadvantage. You can reach the city center in less than 25 minutes and the Flower Auction in Aalsmeer in less than 10 minutes. There is a bus stop within 900 meters. You can easily get to the center or to Amstelveen by public transport. The hotel is eco-friendly. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar – ‘Centennial’ where delicious dishes from the charcoal grill are served.

What’s more, there is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. Ramada hotel is part of the Ramada Hotels chain. It’s a 4-star spot so the price of 115 Euro per room is really attractive. It’s mainly recommended for business travelers as the hotel is located within close reach of Zuidas Financial Mile and the Hoofddorp Business Park. In the close neighborhood you’ll also find a spacious sport complex called Health City, Ramada Hotel guests can use it but it’s a paid service.

See? Staying at the hotel near the airport may be a good option, even if all you’re planning for your trip is exploring the city center. The list above is quite extensive and most of the hotels are, let’s be honest, similar to each other. They all have one important thing in common – they’re close to both the airport and the center of the city. I’ve tried to put different price ranges on the list, so that everyone can choose something that fits their budget. Personally, I would stay in one of the eco-hotels next time while in Amsterdam.
